WHAT ARE THE OPENING HOURS?
Monday – Friday: 6:00am - 14:30pm & 17:00pm- 20:30pm
Saturday: 8:30am – 12:30pm
WHAT HAPPENS IF I TURN UP LATE?
There is a lot of information that is covered at the start of class and ensure the safety of our members and coaches time is respected members have up until 5 minutes to be in the studio to attend class. If they are not in the studio before 5 minutes they will not be allowed to attend.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON’T SHOW UP FOR A SESSION I’VE BOOKED?
If you late cancel or sign up for a class and do not attend the class you will be deducted a session from your package.
HOW DO I CANCEL A SESSION IF I CAN’T MAKE IT?
You can cancel your session for free up to 2 hours before the start of the class. You can do this directly through the app.
HOW DO I CHECK-IN FOR A SESSION?
When you enter the gym there is an iPad at the front desk. Find the class and your name and click ‘check in’. The Front Desk staff can also assist you if the iPad is not available.
HOW DOES THE WAITLIST WORK?
When a class has hit the number of spaces available a waitlist is formed. If someone cancels their reserved spot in the class the first person on the waitlist is automatically added to the roster. Attendees are added from the waitlist to the roster in the order of when they reserved their spot.
DO I HAVE TO BOOK? CAN I JUST SHOW UP?
Due to limited spaces available in each class we can only guarantee a spot if it is reserved in advance.
HOW DO I BOOK?
If you are new and want to attend a class new member options are available to book through the app/website to reserve a class.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE CAN I BOOK A SESSION?
Sessions can start to be reserved 1 week before the class begins and up until 5 minutes before the start of the class.
WHAT IF CIRCUMSTANCES DRAMATICALLY CHANGE DURING MY CONTRACT AND I NEED TO TERMINATE?
Our unlimited memberships are discounted based on the duration that is agreed upon. While we understand that circumstances happen the agreement signed upon is contractual.
CAN I SUSPEND MY MEMBERSHIP FOR TRAVEL?
If you take vacation, become ill or need time away from the gym you can suspend your membership at any time for a minimum of 1 month, up to 3 months for only $199/month.
DO YOU HAVE CORPORATE RATES/DISCOUNTS?

DO I HAVE TO PAY MEMBERSHIP UPFRONT?
All of the unlimited memberships are billed on a monthly basis, so there's no upfront payment or joining fee. Class Packages are paid in full before they become active.
ARE MEMBERSHIPS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN NORMAL GYMS?
As a boutique Central located studio we believe in small group classes where our coaches are able to focus on each member, providing quality coaching and guidance throughout the class. Our staff know our members names, goals and backgrounds to provide the best experience within the gym. With a more personal touch than your normal gyms, we set to provide the best community of like minded individuals and create a space to assist in the growth of every member physically, mentally and emotionally. We provide education through events, newsletters and community get togethers. Our prices reflect the high standards of the facilities, equipment and location. We believe our prices are 100% worth it!
ARE THERE JOINING FEES?
There are no joining fees associated with our memberships.
WHAT TYPES OF MEMBERSHIPS DO YOU OFFER?
Our membership options are very flexible to suit everyone. Depending on your schedule and goals we offer several options including unlimited monthly memberships or class pack packages.

ARE THERE ANY SOCIAL EVENTS FOR MEMBERS?
Whilst there is of course informal gettogether with our members outside of Pherform. Having frequent social events is important to us! On average we have around one social event per month. Our community manager always ensures these are fun, exciting and appeal to everyone involved! They’re a great way of socialising and meeting new people if you’re new to our gym. Everyone is welcome!
WHAT HAPPENS IF I LEAVE BELONGS AT THE GYM?
This happens frequently, however, being a community focused business, we can often tell whose belongings belong to are who.
Contact the gym during opening hours to let the staff know. Pherform also have a Facebook group for all members in which you can discuss issues. However, trust that if you leave something of value in the gym our staff will look after it for you for your return. We’ve never had a reported case of theft since the opening of our gym so your belongings are always in safe hands!
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I BE WORKING OUT AT PHERFORM?
We generally find most women develop a healthy routine when training around 3-4 times per week. This gives a consistent engagement to develop skills, have enough frequency to achieve results and still fit in to your busy Hong Kong lifestyle

WILL I DEVELOP BULKY MUSCLES?
Absolutely not! Not only is it hormonally difficult for women for to accumulate a large amount of muscle mass, the rare cases of women create large bulky muscle groups that were perhaps not wanted are due to poor programming. With over 6000 women experiencing the FST system we have never experienced one person who feels they have appeared bulky under our programming.

WILL PHERFORM HELP ME BURN FAT?
If you spend 23 hours a day eating waffles and ice cream no training system in the world can guarantee on you burning fat!!
Avoiding that, Pherform’s training system combined with an intelligent approach to balanced nutrition has validated itself as the leader in body composition improvement. We have countless success stories of women whose achieve results never seen anywhere else.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PHERFORM AND GROUP FITNESS?
Night and Day difference.
If you think about the traditional approach to “Group Fitness” - it’s essentially a choreographer on a stage, racing through a sequence of movements.
Our training is delivered in a very specific format. We explain to the participants the particulars of the workout, how that fits into a broader training approach, and take time to carefully explain the technique involved through the workout.
That doesn’t stop once the workout starts. Your coaches are responsible for correctly movements throughout the workout, and educating each person relevant to how they are going.
Our coaches are hand-picked from around the world, and are constantly engaged in professional development of how we deliver a blockbuster training experience in every session, whilst also coaching each individual relevant to them. This is why Pherform has such a ridiculously high retention and resign rate for our members - because we have nailed each individuals needs in a small group arena.
CAN THE SESSIONS BE MODIFIED?
Of course. Our coaching take a VERY active interest (obsession?) in understanding the nuance of each individual in our member base. We want to know when to push, when to back off, when to give special consideration, and when to push the accelerator.
Before every session, the training team work around the clock to ensure that predictable modifications may be made for the members who are booked in any session.
Throughout the session, we can change any number of variables based on what’s happening with each individual. This really is the magic of the Pherform community! We have the best part of 1:1 private coaching, delivered in a fun and dynamic group environment.
WHAT IS PHERFORM FST ALL ABOUT?
FST stands for Female Specific Training.
When it comes to various styles of exercise we can really break it down into 4 key training components. These being: Strength Training, Body Sculpting, Metabolic conditioning and HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training).
The reason many people struggle to achieve on going results over the long term is due to lack of training structure. When we don’t take a science-based approach to training stimulus and scheduling we can’t achieve the maximum results we would like. FST has been developed using the latest understanding of sports science in a class based programme and tested on over over 6000 women to date. Through this synergy of science and practical feedback Pherform FST is now known globally as the most comprehensive female training programme currently in the market.
SHOULD I GET “FIT” BEFORE JOINING PHERFORM?
That’s like saying should I sit on the beach if I want to learn to surf…..
Our model has been built to integrate you into these training styles quickly and safely. If concerned - the best thing you can do is have some face time with our member support team and let us discuss the process.
WHAT IF I HAVE NEVER LIFTED WEIGHTS BEFORE?
No problem! Our coaching team will take you through the basic movement patterns and teach you these slowly.
During this stage we focus on building your confidence in the training, and trust in us as your coaches.
We have plenty of time later to push things harder.
HOW TOUGH IS THE TRAINING?
We don’t shy away from the fact our training is challenging. If you hate the idea of sweating and would prefer to work out in a supreme comfort with a charismatic model/trainer called Julio - there are other places that may be suited better.
We focus on results. Many of our members have achieved fat loss or strength gains that defies what was previously thought possible in group training. In order to achieve these results, we have become famous for - we do have a focus on intensity. But insanity doesn’t need to mean screaming and death metal music, it means pushing your body past it comfort zone.
WHY IS PHERFORM ONLY FOR WOMEN?
a) We found that women tend to build a sense of community and comradery when they can relate to likeminded females who share similar background, challenges etc.
b) Men’s and women’s bodies respond very differently to training. The reasons we’ve achieved such notoriety in our short time since opening is due to our FST Training System designed specifically to give a simple programming solution to assist women in becoming leaner, stronger and more balanced whilst keeping every session and day dynamic fun and exciting.
WILL I BE PRESSURED INTO JOINING AT THE END OF MY TRIAL?
Our team will talk you through potential membership options in which we hope you’ve enjoyed your time at Pherform, but noone is pressured to do anything.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT DURING MY TRIAL PERIOD?
Participating in a trial packages is the best opportunity to experience all the different classes we provide throughout the week. You are introduced to our staff, coaches and our members and get a true experience of what it feels like to be a member at Pherform without the commitment. During your trial period you will realize we are more than just a gym; we are a community of women who support one another.
WHY DON’T YOU OFFER FREE TRIALS LIKE COMMERCIAL GYMS?
While we would love to offer free trials we feel this dilutes the gym, the coaches and more importantly the value to our members. We often find that when something is free the value of the membership is not as high and the commitment to show up is lower.
WHAT IF I HAVE AN INJURY OR MEDICAL CONDITION?
When you arrive for your first class you will fill out a waiver form informing us of any preexisting conditions and injuries. Based on this we will inform the coach so they know and can prepare any scaled movements for you.
WHEN CAN I START MY TRIAL?
You can start your trial at your earliest convenience. The trial will start the date that its purchased through the app, but if this needs to be changed to a different date simply contact us and we can make the change for you.
WHAT KIND OF TRIAL PACKAGES DO YOU OFFER?
Over and above offering casual sessions we have several trial programs to encourage new people into our community.
